In short: We collect the information you give us so we can connect you with attorneys who may help. We share it with the independent attorneys we match you with and with service providers that work for us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile phone number with third parties for their own marketing.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Law9, a lead-generation service ("Law9," "we," "us") handles personal information collected through https://law9.com. Law9 is a lead-generation and attorney-matching service — not a law firm. See our Terms and Disclosures.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

Contact details — name, phone number, email address, and state/ZIP.
Case information — the practice area you select, a description of your situation, dates, and answers to intake questions.
Consent records — the date, time, IP address, and the consent language you agreed to.

Information collected automatically

Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring page.
Marketing identifiers — UTM parameters and click identifiers (e.g. gclid, fbclid) so we can understand which campaigns work, and cookies or similar technologies.

3. How we use your information

To review your inquiry and connect you with independent, licensed attorneys who handle your type of matter in your area;
To contact you (by phone, email, and text, with your consent) about your inquiry;
To operate, secure, and improve the Site and prevent fraud and abuse;
To measure and improve our advertising; and
To comply with law and enforce our Terms.

4. How we share your information

With attorneys: We share the information you submit with one or more independent attorneys or law firms in our network so they can evaluate and respond to your inquiry. Those attorneys are separate businesses with their own privacy practices, and once shared, your information is also subject to their handling. This is the core purpose of our service.
With service providers: Vendors that operate on our behalf — such as hosting, email/SMS delivery, CRM, and analytics providers — under obligations to protect your information.
For legal reasons: When required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with any third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. Text-messaging consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.

5. Cookies & tracking

7. Data retention & security

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our service, comply with legal obligations (including maintaining consent records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Do Not Track & third-party sites

We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. The Site may link to third-party websites (including attorneys' sites); we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
